Freshfit was cited by a national food magazine as having some of the best pancakes in the country, so I sought them out. I’m not sure we would have stopped otherwise, as it looks like just another smoothie bar. But once we did, we ate several more meals there. Their food and portion sizes are fantastic and everything is prepared fresh. Located right on the sound with waterfront tables. And the pancakes were really good too! Highly recommend.

Came to OBX for a week and stopped at a few places - this was by far the best! It’s so relaxed, you can work ( I’m remote), the food is AMAZING, healthy and fresh! I had breakfast, lunch and mimosas - everything was amazing. They have the option to buy clothes, handmade shoes ( I certainly bought a pair) and pet toys/treats. Not to mention the view, it is amazing! Highly recommend! The staff was super kind and attentive as well.

I would rate 10 stars! This was our favorite breakfast on our OBX trip! The owner is so nice and friendly. The food is very well flavored and one of best “fit” breakfasts we’ve had! They have smoothies and fresh pressed juice, tofu scramble and gluten free pancakes! They cater to a lot of different dietary preferences and it’s food you can feel good about eating. The outside seating is right along the water and I’d imagine it’s so awesome when the weather is nice. We came in on a rainy day so we enjoyed a cozy breakfast inside. They have so much to offer! I got the tofu scramble with onion, pepper and spinach and vegan cheese. My husband got his eggs scramble his way and hash browns. His juice was the flu fighter (carrots) and I got medicinal (beets). The juices were fresh and so tasty, we felt energized! We recommend stopping for a quick juice or a sit down lunch/ breakfast! It’s all good and the service is fast and friendly!

It was such a fun, cute little cafe right by the water. They are family friendly (including your furry family member) and they have so many healthy, delicious options. The gluten free selection is excellent- the case of baked goods was almost entirely gluten free and the menu had more GF options than I've seen in a while. The gentleman at the check out is delightful, he's so easy to chat with and attentive to all the customers, even when it got busy. Finally, there's a shop area at the entrance with a good variety of souvenirs at good prices. They also had handmade mugs for really good prices. It's a great place to have breakfast or lunch and then grab a little piece of memorabilia. I can't wait to be back for lunch today

It's an adorable cafe that seems to be family run. It's a relaxed and chill atmosphere. I was only in there for a few minutes getting to-go smoothies, but it has a cool cafe/diner mixed with vegan and beach vibes. The smoothies were delicious.

This place was incredible! Atmosphere, food, and service were all first class. We venture to the OBX quite frequently, and this will definitely be a stop EVERY time. The only complaint was the quality of the shrimp on the toast. For being next to the sound the shrimp quality could be much better. Everything else was great. The gentleman who served us was also great at interacting with our toddler. You will not regret coming here for breakfast! DO IT!

Such kind people serving extraordinary food in a gorgeous setting. We grabbed take out to eat at Lost Colony and were blown away by how delicious our lunch was. The bowl was huge and full of fantastic textures and flavors, and the recommendation to pair a lemon tahini sauce with the fish sandwich was incredible. I’m already craving this place again and can’t wait to go back.

First time getting fresh fit and I will definitely be back, the portobello wrap was delicious as was the cucumber salad. I will definitely be back to try their salads and bowls. Also, not sure about what the other reviewers issues with the appearance of this place are about, it’s cute, casual and has a great view! They are probably tourists that have very boujee standards. I can’t speak to service for dine in but takeout was quick and easy. The website is a tiny bit confusing when ordering as one of the options are “No’s B” and lists a bunch of options, I selected add avocado and put it in the comments. They added avocado so . Great place for a quick and healthy meal!
